Why Black Ark
We spent twenty years inside large companies watching the same story repeat. The company buys the software. Consultants arrive, ask a lot of questions, and hand over a presentation everyone agrees looks good. The project ends. A year later, the software is still being paid for and nothing about the actual work has changed.
We wanted to do it the other way around. The person who plans the work is the person who builds it, and the person you call when something breaks. We turn down projects that won't hold up once real data hits them. And we stay until it's genuinely running, because that's the only point where any of it counts.
